BMX-11 is BioMimetx first product. BMX-11 consists on the optimized combination of biological compounds designed by Nature to create a potent "green" biocide, that fully incorporates in marine paints and replaces traditional toxic biocides.

BMX-11 is efficiently produced by an environmental bacterium owned by BioMimetx. When released into the environment, the intrinsic biodegradability of its components ensures full degradation in a short time. However, when incorporated in paints, BMX-11 is stabilized and has a prolonged activity and availability, becoming the ultimate antifouling agent for submerged surfaces.
